Arby's is a well-known American fast-food restaurant chain founded in 1964 by brothers Forrest and Leroy Raffel in Ohio. The chain was established to provide a fast-food alternative focused on roast beef sandwiches, distinguishing itself from the hamburger-centric offerings of the time. The name "Arby's" is derived from the phonetic representation of "R" and "B," representing the founders' surname.

Arby's is recognized for its signature roast beef sandwiches, which are central to its menu. Over the years, the menu has expanded to include a variety of sandwiches, wraps, salads, and sides, such as the Beef 'n Cheddar sandwich and Curly Fries. The company has also introduced healthier options through its Lite Menu and Market Fresh line, which features deli-style sandwiches and salads. Arby's has a strong commitment to community engagement, exemplified by the Arby's Charity Tour, which supports youth-mentoring organizations. As a flagship brand under Inspire Brands, Arby's continues to grow and innovate, maintaining a significant presence in the fast-food industry.
