TEDxChattanooga is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDxChattanooga event, live speakers spark deep discussion and connection in a small group setting. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDxChattanooga program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
Since 2020, the main two focuses in speaker selection are that a) the speaker must have ties to Chattanooga and b) the cohort of speakers for each event is diverse. And in just four years, we've produced 50+ TEDx talks.
