Chobani is an American food company founded in 2005 by Hamdi Ulukaya, inspired by his background in dairy farming. The company is best known for its strained Greek yogurt, which is thicker and higher in protein than traditional yogurt. Over the years, Chobani has expanded its product range to include oat milk and dairy creamers, and in 2023, it acquired La Colombe, allowing it to offer cold-pressed espresso and ready-to-drink coffee beverages.

Chobani has experienced significant growth since launching its brand in 2007, quickly becoming the leading Greek yogurt brand in the U.S. by 2010. Its products are available in grocery stores, warehouse clubs, and cafes nationwide, catering to consumers seeking high-protein and natural food options. The company is also recognized for its commitment to social impact, implementing progressive employee policies and supporting community initiatives, including hiring refugees and donating food to combat hunger.
